Looking at the graph of discrete cdf (that you have sketched) and based on the last bullet statement, I have one question.

If X is an discrete rv then in what sense F(x) is right-continuous?

I mean at every jump there is an open circle and a closed circle and at every piece of lines, we have one closed circle at left side and one open circle at the right side. So if we walk from the open circle at the right side to closed circle at the left side of any piece of line, in that direction do we call it right continuity or vice versa?
