Now. People. If you want to save this country's standing, dignity & constitution. Save your rights. You know what has to be done. Vote for a majority Democrat in both Senate & House. No more meally mouth whinning about selfishness. It's time to get back thinking what is good for all in this country. No to dictator king rule in this country.

They gave themselves a raise! They can't pass an increase to minimum wage, but giving themselves a raise is proper, especially as they let thousands of employees go. We now recognize them.

Saying this will keep the government open is a stretch. It’s more like it will funneling OUR tax dollars to billionaires, while closing down most of what matters.

The proposed CR would limit D.C. to its FY24 levels for local funding, effectively leading to nearly $1 billion cuts to District services, including public safety, education, and health. This provision is the latest in a long line of attacks on democracy in the District of Columbia. Congress should continue its longstanding practice and allow D.C. to continue to spend at its current budget levels.

This bill poses a grave threat to the livelihoods and well-being of millions of Americans. Congress should pass a clean short-term CR and work on appropriations in a bipartisan fashion instead of voting on this ill-conceived and harmful bill.

I'm from Maine. I'm terribly disappointed in the golden boy. He's not representative of intelligence. Sadly.

The sheer raw naked cowardly incompetence of the Dems is simply gobsmacking.

Primary anyone who voted for this!

Thank goodness they need 60 votes in the senate. Republicans are the ones who will need to explain to their voters.😊

I understand the hate. Jared barely won his seat. I can understand his vote. However they still need to go to Senate and this won’t pass the filibuster vote.
Let keep our perspective and be focus on getting the House in the Midterms.

Maybe Hakeem should worry about defecting Democrats instead of who are flashing paddles at joint session meetings
