Is The GTX TITAN BLACK Still a Gaming Beast In 2020?

Показать описание
The GTX TITAN Black Edition offered better performance than the original card thanks to more cores and an increase in speeds, though it's still essentially a GTX 780 Ti with double the VRam. So can 6 gigs save this old beast, or does it suffer at the hands of modern and demanding PC Games?

Test Specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
16GB DDR4 @ 3200MHz Dual Channel
GTX TITAN Black Reference / Founders
Windows 10 Pro
Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 550W PSU

Games Tested (All at 1080p)
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Warzone
Crysis Remastered
Grand Theft Auto V
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
Red Dead Redemption 2
Rainbow Six Siege

Thanks for watching :)

Not sure how I forgot to mention it but all games were tested at 1920 x 1080 as usual :)

Awesome video, really enjoy these Titan cards, the black accents on the cooler makes it look better than the original in my opinion :)

Top hardware from 6 years ago... and now +/-40fps in some games.

Somehow this is a bit frustrating to watch. :D

Still have been watching you for years and now I have a Ryzen 7 3700x paired with a 2080 Super. Not going to stop anytime soon.

Lolz, had two of these in my system back in the day. One of the cards unfortunately died 😩 Really loved this card, everything maxed out on 1080p 💪😄 Those were the days, back when I still had time to play games 😜

I eventually upgraded to a single GTX1080ti and from that to a RTX2080S.

I still have the other GTX Titan Black in one of my retro builds with a i7-4930K, X79 Asus Rampage IV Black Edition (with the funny external overclock board) and 8x8GB 1.866MHz Kingston Fury Black in a Corsair 750D big tower.

Love to see there is still some performance left in the old beast 👌

Love the content 👍😄

When a Titan shows up on this channel, you know you're old

I'm still using it, and it can hold pretty strong even this day. I think it has similar performance to 1060 6gb or 980 4gb. But much hotter.

Double precision is Floating Point 64 at full speed, which gamers dont have to worry about, its for professional workloads

God, when you realize that time flies by so quickly.... Most of us here probably have (already outdated) GPUs, that mop the floor with the Titan Black, which was all the rage back in a day...
It won't be long until we'll get videos like "will this quite old RTX3090Ti holds up in today's games - let's find out".
