The reason foreign universities are far much better than Indian universities is just because they focus more on practical aspect of education rather than writing silly equations all day for 4 years.

I feel that Indian education system in ancient times was by far the most logical and best ever in the history of existence...

Good advice for undergrads. I completed my BTech, MTech, PhD, Postdoc, and job experience from US and teaching in IIT now. For undergrads it does not make much difference. But for high-tech research, at least some foreign experience is advantageous for training MTech, PhD students in India.

You are right in saying that missing important family events in India was a part of life while living in the US.

I think, It's your upbringing which made you rethink on this matter, and I think, it's you, who made the choice, that has actually broken the trend of all AIR 1 moving out of the country, huge respect, to you kalpit bhai.

You didnt even get into MIT, so how can you "chose" between MIT and IIT? Getting into IIT is no guarantee that you'll get MIT too.

Mit is known for its best education and practical knowledge while jee iit is known for its toughest exams

That "India ki respect" one I have experienced. I have a friend who went US after 8th grade and now when we talk she'll always say bad things like this done in US and that and all. I used to correct her but now I've somewhere stopped taking her seriously.

Bhiya Please make video on Better Branch VS Better Collegue.
For ex-: IIT bombay with low branch or NIT with CS

The only problem with Indian education is That Students get all information but still they never receive practical Information and skills. That why majority of Graduates are unfit for Jobs.

But why doesn't IITs have amazing architecture, cleanliness and advance technology and productive culture like foreign universities?

Salute you brother for the respect for Indian people and culture. There are very few successful persons like you who can understand their family values

Let me counter you(I respect you from my ♥)
Arg1: system of iit is not very fair as those who are very poor can’t afford top coachings.. and those who are rich can afford top coaching.. although I agree it’s near fair. Clarity is present.
Arg 2: System of iit dosent judge you as an individual rather everything is based on a single exam. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH ANY FOREIGN UNIV. they ask you for essays, extracurricular(like olympiads which take effort), SAT-ACT, AP’s …, 9/10/11/12 marks.. all this tells that this whole process is not based on single exam.
Arg 3: Some of these univ does grant admission to r son of rich people as they are private and has to cover their expenses of giving scholarships to financially weak student(need based/blind) and to maintain their world class infrastructure.
Arg 4: 100% Scholorship is provided and you can accommodate their by taking loan from mit bank and net cost gets to 7-8 lakh and 5-6 lakh in any Iit.. although I agree very poor student wouldn’t be able to manage
Arg 5: oh my god this arg is completely wrong.. people out of Indian and very acceptable in nature.. you can understand at when Indian people can go to us and become CEO of their company… much example is not present in Indian.. religion politics is too much.. like us people are too liberal..
Further mit is ranked 1 and no Iit is even under 150 rank telling the diff.. mit believes in making student brilliant Iit believes in taking them

All this is okay, but one of the most important criteria to judge a college is its alumni, and it is a matter of fact the alumni from IITs are nowhere close to that produced by Harvard, MIT and Stanford. JEE sure is a great way to filter out the most intelligent and hardworking people, but most of them take up jobs in consultancy or do things nowhere remotely related to the courses they took. Harvard and MIT might not have people as bright as IITians(not true but just for the sake of argument), but these colleges allow the students to choose their course after the first year. They are allowed to try out a plethora of courses from social sciences to pure sciences in the first year. Still, after choosing a major they have a lot of flexibility. In foreign universities culture is way different from here in India. The struggle is on even after getting into college (dropout rates are as high as 7-8%), while students in India take a rather relaxed approach.
I am in no way trying to undermine IIT or IITians, I just wanted to put the correct facts forward.
I would respect Kalpit to have a more unbiased approach as many people rely on what he says.
And to everyone following him blindly I would say that getting rank 1 in an exam doesn't guarantee knowledge about everything.

Agreed. Old IITs are the best in the world for undergraduate engineering education. They only start falling behind at the graduate and PhD level.

getting a scholarship in mit, individuals get a stipend to cover living expenses .This amount may be up to $4000 ( 3, 05, 738 rs ). The institute also provides low-income students with a grant for the first year to help with the extra expenses of their transition to college. It is known as a first-year grant and is generally $2000 ( 1, 52, 869rs ). If u r good enough to get the scholarship dont miss it.

Bhaiya this was really really an Eye opener!!!
My father also say the same thing that India is not a village that there is no scope, people are doing very well and most of the people can do very well in India only...
Thank you for clearing my perspective about reality of foreign universities...

Excately! I was also getting admission in Germany but considering few points like indian culture, staying away from parents for very long time & ofc expenses, I prefer to study here in IIT. now I don't regret upon my decision coz here I'm getting goof education culture as well.
