Thank you so much for sharing this! I was working with a dark theme in which the URL icon color was basically invisible, using the title as a link solved my problem.

Cool, but since you can't conditionally format the row headers in a matrix, this means you can't set the row headers to links either. I suspect this will be an issue for a lot of people.
