A Walt Disney Cartoon – Johnnie Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet (1946) – 1954 reissue titles

Johnnie Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet from Make Mine Music (1946) was reissued by RKO as a stand-alone short in 1954. The RKO logo was omitted when this 16mm Eastman print was made in 1974, and today the colours have turned mostly purple – but it’s still nice that this version exists, I think.

Thank you for sharing, Erik. I agree it's nice that this still exists and it's also nice to see it! The use of this style of opening card and this style of end title is consistent with other 1954 reissues. Look out for an email from me – I'd been looking at some the releases from this era so I've shared my research on this so far.

This is why in my Italian video cassette "Mickey Be mine" after the Mickey Mouse episode of '36 "Mickey's rival" these opening credits 0:06 and the end were missing 1:13, rather than an episode of Donald Duck from '40 "Mr Duck Steps out"

Hey Animation Nation, you could post this episode of Andrew Sisters "Johnnie Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet" in your channel

The music at 1:11-1:22 would sound heavenly if it's played double high tone.

All we need now is the stand alone versions of Andy Russell's Without You, Blue Bayou and Dinah Shore's Two Silhouettes

0:07 Hey! Why does it say 1952 in Roman numerals, when the short was made in 1954?!
