Walt Disney Animation Studios' upcoming feature film “Encanto” tells the tale of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family who live in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto. Each child has been blessed with a magic gift unique to them—each child except Mirabel. But when the family’s home is threatened, Mirabel may be their only hope.

The voice cast includes Stephanie Beatriz as Mirabel; María Cecilia Botero as Mirabel’s grandmother Alma aka Abuela; John Leguizamo as Bruno; Angie Cepeda and Wilmer Valderrama as Mirabel’s parents, Julieta and Agustín; and Diane Guererro and Jessica Darrow as Mirabel’s sisters, Isabela and Luisa. Also lending their voices are Carolina Gaitán and Mauro Castillo as Mirabel’s aunt and uncle, Pepa and Félix; and Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz and Ravi Cabot-Conyers as Mirabel’s cousins Dolores, Camilo and Antonio, respectively.

The film features all-new songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda (“Hamilton,” “Moana”) and is directed by Byron Howard (“Zootopia,” “Tangled”) and Jared Bush (co-director “Zootopia”), co-directed by Charise Castro Smith (writer “The Death of Eva Sofia Valdez”) and produced by Clark Spencer and Yvett Merino. Bush and Castro Smith are screenwriters on the film.Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” opens in theaters November 24, 2021.

I just finished watching "Encanto", and I really need to say how relatable Mirabel is. Never being able to fit in, but also never being able to tell anyone. I always feel like this almost anywhere, and especially at school. This movie really gave me a little confidence about sharing the feelings I've been bottling up. This movie is 100% worth the watch

Maybe Mirabel is the only one who can complete the quest because she is the only one who knows how to live day-to-day without magic. And hopefully she doesn't get a magic gift in the end, just to emphasize her uniqueness in that regard.

I love that when this trailer came out, a lot of people were like "Ugh, let's hope this isn't a total disappointment..." and then the movie came out, and now, everyone's like "THIS MOVIE'S PERFECT!!!"

I feel like this is gonna be a comfort movie for me, I’m in a family full of talented people and my friends are talented too, I’ve always felt dull in comparison and I hope they don’t just give her a gift in the end because of the good she did, I hope they embrace that her kindness, empathy and listening is her gift
