People who could afford this kind of renovation can afford to have a room for each child

I love how the bedroom size always magically grows

This is what happens when you ask a designer for a suggestion. They just turned a $400 bunk bed solution into a $20, 000 renovation

I still find the bunk bed more functional and easy and breathable. Whooo. I couldnt breathe in this room

In NYC those new beds are called apartments.

I’d like to see the designers change the bed linens!

The bunk beds save on floor space, for children who need play space for enrichment. They don't need a cramped office for two.

Wow, this is a giant ever-growing room!😂 With rooms this size, that apartment easily should have had 3 bedrooms…thus each kid would have had their own. The design idea is good, but most parents who can’t afford bigger space won’t be able to afford the renovation cost…but they can perhaps modify it.

I like how the bedroom stretches to accommodate the new design.

If you can afford this, the kids would have separate rooms.

THIS IS SOOOO UNREALISTIC! FOR THE COST OF THESE RENOVATIONS YOU COULD JUST HAVE ANOTHER BEDROOM ADDED ON TO YOUR HOME!

Bunk beds are practical. If people had the money this would be super super cool. This would work for like a TV set bedroom.

Imho, the designer hasn't considered air flow, how hard it is to dust, clean all this and change bedding. Plus smaller kids really need open floor space to play together and exercise/ be creative for development. Murphy beds would be better for about the same price and provide for floor space to dance, build train tracks, roll balls, etc ..

When you find an apartment with a room that big for 2 kids to share in that capacity, please let the world know where it's located 😂😂😂😂😂. The reason the bunk beds were the option in the first place was because the room was small as ever.

I like the idea with the bunk bed better, give more space

We lived in a apartment. We had 3 bedrooms and 3 boys. They opted to stay together in one room. I bought a bunk bed w/a trundle. Now we live in a house, they each have their own room. ❤

Good thing you left 2 whole feet for walkway space 👏
Also good thing only the very rich could afford a bedroom this size and a renovation like this, so they're sure to have an extra room the kids can play in!

Bunk beds are easier, cheaper & the kids have more space. This feels like a solution that has more problems than it's trying to solve

Making those beds and cleaning will be very challenging.

Ohhh! Well, I’ll run right out and get that material and have my private contractor get this started! And to think! I was one of the lazy “bunk bed” parents for so long!
