7 Days Exploring Mexico City 🇲🇽

We arrived to Mexico City from Acapulco and stayed at the most special hostel in Centro called Massiosare El Hostal - would highly recommend. We spent many days just exploring and walking around the city with newness, eyeopening wonder and beauty around every corner. There is a strange ordered chaos about Mexico City that we both loved. Although it seems like it shouldn't work, somehow the city feels very streamlined and perfectly ordered. It's also one of the cleanest cities we've ever seen. The food here was something else with the most vegan restaurants we've ever seen on happy cow. We also felt a lot of love in this city for the place and each other.

Some of our favourite places we visited:

🗿Teotihuacan - See our previous video for this magical and awe inspiring Pre Hispanic Citadel

🏫 Sears Cafe - Google this to find this great cafe overviewing Bellas Arts Museum and get an iced cacao as well

🏞️ Chapultepec Park and Museo De Antropoligica

Alameda Central Park - a great place to sit and people watch

Bellas Artes - Magical Museum

👩‍🍳 Aura Cocina Mexicana - We made a video of this on instagram. Our friends bought us a class here for our leaving present and it was probably the best thing we did in Mexico City.

Some of our favourite restaurants we visited in order:

El Mundo - Some of the best food we've ever had. We went here for Thom's B-Day and would highly recommend the Watermelon Tartar and Pizza!!

Por Siempre - Super affordable and really some of the best food in Mexico City

I Quit Bakery - Tasty Birthday Treats

V Ramen - Great Ramen and a free ramen on your Birthday

La Pitaya - The Food we had at the end of the video, amazing waffles

Tremendous Capital City!
Visitors quickly realize of the rich and complex history, traditions, art, architecture, lifestyle and eclectic gastronomy. Mexico City is just fascinating, too much to explore and discover every corner.
Mexico has the largest number of world heritage sites recognized by UNESCO in the Americas.
Nice vid!

I might be bias because I'm Mexican, but there's no doubt in my mind that Mexico city is the best metropolis in the world

Mexico City is the museum CAPITAL OF THE WORLD! You can't just say "I'm going to the museum." There are hundreds if not thousands of them.

I love your comment about young and old love, Mexico is definitely the most “human” mega city. You don’t really find that in Tokyo, NYC or London.

Sorry but it's not the greatest city in the world, Mexico City is so unsafe and dangerous people have no idea. Mexico City is missing a lot of good things used to be back in there 70s and 80s, but not anymore, is one of the most polluted cities in the world and nobody's talking about it in this video.
