I think these figures are for catapult launch for fa18 and not ski jump for which the numbers might come down..!

Fa 18 got a recent upgrade which the Mig 29 didn't get and might not get. Mikoyan and Gurevich is currently working on MiG 35's naval variant which would be very interesting to watch when it comes out

Mig 29K is cheap and Expensive to Maintain it, s cost will overcome F/A - 18 overall life cost. Super hornet are Expensive but far easier to operate and maintain it does not require changing of spare parts and doing extra modifications so yes Super hornets are far more Cheaper and Better than Mig 29K.

I've been saying this in the past on every thread that talks of replacing the mig29 k with f18 hornets and I'll say this again - not everything made by america is the best.
F18s at their MTOW are heavier and hence need to be catapulted into air when taking off from USS carriers. India doesn't have catapult carriers as of now, not until Vishal arrives. So in reality, a f18 taking off from say INS vikramaditya would have drastically deteriorated performance in terms of payload carrying capacity than even mig 29k. Mig29k were designed keeping in mind the need to take off from ski jump carriers which both Indian and Russia operate. These planes might not be great in terms of maintenance but they're the best fit as of now.
Therfore any discussion involving the hornets for the Indian navy should be put on hold untill we have a carrier than can properly handle the above type of aircraft and by then who knows our own tedbf might fructify

Mig-29k is good enough even if its not as good as hornet. We don't need hornet since Mig-29k is still capable enough to fill the gap. We need to focus on TEDBF and in meantime we must do some upgrades on mig-29k and order some more. We don't need rafale M or F-18 super hornet.

Russian technology is obsolete look at their plight of AD in nagorno kharbk war. How Tb2, drone destroy s-300 and pantasir s1 in libya and syria. And we have seen the plight of mig 29 in first gulf war.

We can buy 2 Mig29k in one F18 price . Hence i think it is better to go with Mig 29K as our pilots are already trained on it and no service and maintenance setup require for MIG 29k as they are already exists in India 😊

Rafale navy version will be better for indian navy. Since IAF is already using rafale it will be easier to induct in indian navy. Will help in intraoptibility point of view as well between navy and airforce . F18 will be an additional aircraft with cost.With regards to MIG-29 We already have then in navy.
