Good video, and I am looking forward to the general Jamay one coming up...
But what would be REALLY interesting, Jerry, is a real estate tour of one of Mexico's shrinking towns... Certain towns in certain states have seen large percentages of their residents leave, legally or illegally, for the US. Many will not return, and accordingly their houses are probably up for sale. An excess of sellers relative to buyers generally spirals prices downwards. This is where the genuine bargains will be, not in Jamay!

Unless you're very familiar with living in small pueblos, I would strongly recommend renting for the 1st year. Many bad surprises can pop-up from constant dog barking to noisy neighbors (music todo volumen til wee-hours), some places are bad for mosquitoes etc. And the choice of only a couple of restos can quickly become redondant.

I am from Jamay and you will Noh find an apartment for this price! It’s way too cheap for this What is the address for this house cause I’ve never seen it. Jamay native own the vast majority of homes, generations pass properties to next generation. Even after living in the USA they never let go of properties in Jamay. Natives vacation there and retire there too. Jamay has a rich cultural history and is working on becoming a Pueblo Mágico. I live in NYC and have a home in Janay and don’t plan on selling! Most people in Jamay are related to old families of Jamay. Everyone knows everyone and a newcomer will be noticed immediately. Jamay people are very educated and friendly but Realestate there is expensive!!!! There is a high demand within natives of Jamay. 8:36

Jerry, somehow I missed the front and back yards: how big they were and how many cars could be parked in the cochera. That price seems high, for what is offered. Could that be a "gringo" price? What about the area where it is located? Is that the typical house there? How far from the Centro? Good restaurants in the Centro, or near by? Thanks, Jerry and Lori.
