I have a son who is like Dayton. At 18, he moved into an airstream out in front of the house. Of course, we own an RV park and he had full hookups. My son wanted to be on his own and that seemed like a safe 1st step. It would be my guess that Dayton wanted out of that house. Kids like Dayton and my son don't like loud noises, yelling, drama . . . . . . . I think Kody is a yeller and that would be pure hell for Dayton.

We've all known that Dayton has been living in that RV for years. Let's be honest here: An RV is MORE than Kody ever gave to Janelle OR any of the OG adult children. Is their treatment of Dayton good? No... but it's better than Janelle, Garrison, Savannah, and Gabe ever got.

I can't speak for Dayton, of course, but my autistic son, who is 23 years old, would absolutely ADORE living in an RV in our driveway. He'd have his own space, his own little house, to live as he wanted to without siblings and nephews underfoot all the time. He needs his peace and quiet and can't get that by living in our home with 13 other people.

As a mother of a 24-year-old son on the Autism Spectrum Disorder, the treatment of Dayton by Kody and Robyn is despicable. Dayton is mistreated, and child services should have been involved YEARS ago. This is yet one more example of how Kody is an abusive parent.

Kody has claimed numerous times that once his kids start to question or challenge him in any way, even over the smallest things, he loses interest and no longer wants to be around them. I'm not at all surprised or shocked that he would force Dayton out of the main house and into a RV since he would've considered Dayton's trip to reconnect with his birth father as a major personal slight at the very least. If Dayton wasn't autistic, he'd likely be banished from the property altogether and cut off like Garrison. 😥

Don’t you get it? Dayton probably gets social security disability and has to live alone to qualify. Real question is who Is getting this money?? Also, someone in house is probably paid by SSD to be the caregiver. It is always about money for Kody.

I searched for the RV model he has, and according to a reddit post where someone was saying they could see the model in an old episode, he would have a Keystone Outback Kargaroo 28KRS. This RV has a 30, 000 BTU furnace in it, which would make it pretty much a 4 seasons RV if well isolated. Flagstaff apparently goes down to 15°F in winter, which (as a Canadian) I would say is pretty mild and not BRUTAL 😅, and is livable in a well equiped RV.

Now, I must say I wouldn't want this for my child, but Dayton being autistic might think it's a nice way to have his independance while not being too far from his resources. I doubt he is freezing to death in there 😂

The whole situation makes me nauseous. Kody and Robyn made their own bed, now let them suffer and lay in their mess. Poor Dayton should not have to suffer. Kody maimed him and doesn’t take responsibility
