Python Lab: Introducing iPython

Показать описание
Presented by WWCode Washington DC
One of the beauties of working with python is that you can use the python shell to try out snippets of code without the overhead of having to write a script. It's an extremely useful way to double check syntax and function outputs. But the default python shell has some irritating limitations. ipython is a much nicer command shell to work with.
This lab will take you through some of my favorite features and point you in the direction of the ipython documentation.
Requirements:
**Note that if you take the first option, to use the free "launch binder" service, you will need to keep the session alive by interacting with it or binder will automatically clean your session up after 5-10 minutes.
Women Code of Conduct Women Who Code (WWCode) is dedicated to providing an empowering experience for everyone who participates in or supports our community, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, socioeconomic status, caste, or creed.
