Ozark Trail 12 Person Instant Cabin Tent Short Review - Part 1 - Exterior / Camping

A brief review of the Ozark Trail Instant Cabin Tent. This is Part 1 reviewing the exterior of the tent. Part 2 is a review of the interior of the tent. I have put this tent up about a dozen times, it is a challenge for one person but doable. I use two extendable studio light stands to hold up two of the hubs while I raise the third. As I mention in the video I strongly suggest waterproofing the entire tent and the rain fly and seal all of the seams with seam sealer. On one of my camping trips I had 16 hours of rain over a period of three days and I had multiple leaks; after I sealed the seams I went on another camping trip and had about 38 hours of rain over three days and I had no leaks.

I am so sorry YOU had to modify this (expensive) Ozark Trail Cabin Tent.
Just like the door... Why would they design it where it slopes inward and the RAIN comes off the top right INSIDE... That is stupid to make a door like that... Not impressed at all.
Then YOU have to spend more time and money to SEAL everything ...
Did this Tent Company do anything right???

Thank you! I wish I saw this before I went camping with this tent! Went camping in Mid June, and It was cold at night, very noticeable. It was because of that large gap between the rain fly and tent.
Did you find any other solution for that? Besides throwing other rain flys in between.
