Unity fosters a sense of belonging and purpose among team members. It helps in pooling diverse skills and perspectives, leading to innovative solutions and better decision-making.

It's essential to preserve our democracy to understand the difference here. This is a most salient point. If we don't realize that there is a bully in our midst and adjust ourselves to whatever the bully wants, then we are not living in a democracy. Even if democracy exists right outside our door.

Each one of us has a responsibility to understand this point. It is what we are struggling with right now. The outcome will determine whether we can continue as a democracy, where people of all different backgrounds, experiences, and genetics can work together for the common good. Or devolve into chaos and the bully's "unity."

Unity only matters if the person who opposes you is able to overcome your world view. Thank you for this opinion.
