Want to know how to upload a photo to Facebook? Uploading photos to Facebook is very easy and will only take a few seconds, but the big secret is, where is the photo on your computer?

Yes, a big part of being able to upload a picture to Facebook is haying your computer organized enough that you can easily find photos on it. But you can also use your search feature on your computer to find photos as well.

So let's get to how to upload a photo to Facebook. You can do a status update from either your timeline which looks like this, or from your profile page which looks like this. Let's use our profile page. But remember this, uploading a photo to Facebook from your timeline page is exactly the same.

You will have icons across your status update box and all you do is click the little camera icon on the far left right here or you can click the photo / video link right here.

Then you choose a picture somewhere on your computer or you can search for it which you would do like this if you have a Mac like we have in our house: Put your search term in here and it automatically starts searching for any file related to that term.

You then select that photo and click the Open button on a Mac and whatever it is, I think it's an open button on a PC and then your photo uploads to Facebook.

You then click the post button and your photo will go live on Facebook right then and there. Now, if you have a Facebook page you can actually schedule when those posts go out up to 4 of 5 months in advance. We can cover all that in another video because that's a little different when working with a Facebook Page. Same concept, just slightly different.

So, that's how you upload a photo to Facebook.

Excellent informative video, but my Dell computer a lot of times doesn't respond when I search and want to upload the photo it work when I restart the PC but I keep having the same problem lately no sure why or if there is a fix for that ?
