Ran a marine tank when I was a kid back in the late 70s. No internet people telling me what to do / not do. 20g, undergravel filter, incandescent light hood. It was hit or miss with the fish. Frankly think the local fish store was pretty shady taking advantage of a kid. The tank ran about 5 years. Thinking about it now and overwhelmed with info lol

I would like to thank you for taking the time to make your videos. You inspire me to finally make the jump into saltwater. Your aquariums are beautiful and your content helps the broke masses see that there is another way to go about this well.

Very hard to find people like yourself in the saltwater side of the Hobby

I like the salt water side but on the cheaper side

Appreciate the information very useful

Great video mate. Feel like initial costs can be daunting when considering setting up an aquarium and can put people off but as you say there's lots of options these days to bring that figure down and still run healthy gorgeous tanks.

Decided to swap from fluval 107 to 307 for my tank, due to the substance in the tank is to much and need yo absorb more. Tank is 110 liter about + the extra in chiller and filter

Love your low tech, low cost methods and really enjoy your videos. I'm thinking of setting up a small (24 litre) nano reef tank with an internal filter. You mentioned using some internal filters instead of powerheads but are there any internal filters might you recommend for small reef tanks? Thanks

I would definitely rather spend £500 on livestock!

You need to be clearer. Your tanks are fish only and algae only. If you want pristine water clear water (what saltwater is known for the crisp blue) to grow corals and for fishb to colour up and be healthy etc you need the right equipment. Fir ypur setups or temp setups is fine but long term success flow, filtration and lightning are key to long tern success in saltwater / reef hobby
