That is a compliment coming from someone as experienced as Ronnie. Well deserved I might add.

One hell of an endorsement from the GOAT and I gotta agree with Ronnie. CBum is something else!

If bumstead was competing in mid 80s he would be considered the best

It’s crazy bcus Mike Ohearn had insane definition like a comic book character. I’m surprised he didn’t say Mike

And again this is why Ronnie remains the goat. He’s always extremely respectful of the current generation. I’m reality CBUM has been nice but hasn’t had the effect that Arnold, Ronnie or even Jay Cutler had on bodybuilding. He’s definitely gonna be in the top 10 after he retires but it’s hard to convince longtime bodybuilding aficionados that he’s the goat. Even Aesthetically speaking, I can name guys who were just as impressive if not more than CBUM but they competed in a pre-social media era where credit may not have been given fairly.

Just to be clear bodybuilding has 4 divisions each with different standards. The open division is the first and historically most famous/respected/acclaimed division. It was the original division. Its the division in which ronnie, cutler, arnold, haney, yates etc. all competed. Since dorian yates' 6 straight mr olympia wins the open division has become the divison of mass monsters. Theh aim to just put on as much muscle mass as possible while being at incredibly low body fat. 11 years ago the mens 212 divison was created. It has a weight limit of, you guessed it, 212lbs. Thats pretty damn light for a bodybuilder. Therefore in order to look big at that size you have to be pretty damn short, as least to have that typical bodybuidler aesthetic. Therefore, mens 212 is basically the division for short people. The winners of the 212 divison range in height from 5'2" to 5'7". 10 years ago the mens physique division was created. It places a very large emphasis on aesthetics with competitors being the smallest of all divisons. They have a more slim and atheltic build, the kind of build that you might, especially as a beginner, look at and think you can acheive naturally (you probably cant unles you have elite genetics then maybe). Its more of a beach bod look than bodybuilder, they literally compete in swimming trunks so they dont even look at their upper legs and instead look at more the upper body particularly the midsection and shoulder to waist ratio. Its the kind of physique a lot of people who hate on bodybuilders say is much more aesthetic than a bodybuilders physique, despite the fact that this division exists with bodybuilders with a slimmer, smaller physique. 7 years ago the classic division was created. The classic division has a weight limit which depends on height. Due to the weight limit and the fact that it changes by height the classic divison places more emphasis on shape, symmetry and aesthetics over pure size. Thats why its called the classic physique, the physiques are more similair to the phhsiques of the classic golden era of bodybuilding which many consider to be more aesthetic. In addition to the typed of physiques youll see theyre are other differences between the divison such as the way the contests are structure/organised as well as how many/what poses competitors can do.

You know Ronnie the goat bc he always honest and truthful. Back a few years ago he said todays open class olympians couldn’t place in the late 90s or early 2000s. That wasn’t a diss. Todays guys are huge but over the top insulin and gh use has made their skin thick. He was right. Todays top guys dont come close to the conditioning of Yates, flex, levrone, Shawn ray, nasser, etc…

Sorry Ronnie, have to disagree, CB hasn't even lived long enough to be considered "all time greatest" at anything.

Ronnie is the best most humble man maybe the 🐐 and always give praise to everyone that deserves it....Arnold was the opposite...
