literally anyone can open my truck with a $5 device and help themselves to anything inside. Good grief!

Do yourself a favor and bypass this junk. Get some wire thicker than a coathanger, and stiffer, bend a J in it that's about the distance of the glass to the underside of the lock knob sticking up through the door panel. Insert into door outside of glass and turn 90 degrees and pull up until you see the knob wiggle and you know you're in the right spot to pull up further. You'll get it unlocked pretty quick after that.
