It's strange how they encourage people to keep drinking and suggest "stocking up." Alcohol is terrible for you, and everyone should reevaluate their reliance on it. It's concerning when people's first stop during time off or vacation is the LCBO, let alone everyday after work .

People should realize, alcohol prices will never go down, no matter where it is sold. Decent paying jobs are important, making $5 or so above minimum wage is very reasonable. If liquor stores paid minimum wage no employees would stay longer than a month. Whether or not the LCBO is needed is debatable, but better paying jobs are important, and that's why unions are important.

Anybody else notice that alcohol labels don’t have warnings like cigarette packs? 🤔

That’s reality none of our jobs are guaranteed in the private sector

If the LCBO closes its doors for more than 2 days, those doors are getting torn down on the 3rd day you watch.

LCBO has had a monopoly on the market for decades and decades, and our health care still sucks, so I`m not buying what she`s selling. Beer and coolers and things like that, should be sold in stores, the Government will still make they`re tax money off that. Maybe it`s time to privatize LCBO, we`ll get real sales, not this 1.00 off a 50.00 bottle of rum or rye, etc.

It's not a dry summer. We have beer stores, we have wine, beer, and other summer drinks in groceries store. Stop being drema queens reporters!!!

Employees of any government institution should not allowed to strike. Most of these employees are better paid and have better benefits than people who pay taxes to fund these institutions.

LOL, she is talking about convenience, during covid they were closed every Monday for 2 years while everyone else worked normal hours, and don't get me started on their weird hours 1pm-4pm

Boohoo, the LCBO is such an archaic way of selling alcohol. Sick of this monopoly.

BOY did I have it wrong. I was under the impression the Provincial Government ran the LCBO. It seems the union does. No one cares where they buy their liquor. A job guarantee?, give me a break. Unions are just TOO expensive. Keep costs DOWN.

Just sell the LCBO give the people a break private stores can sell liquor at a much cheaper price and the government will get their taxes without all those overhead costs
