This was the first American Idol I've watched.

💖💖💖 A few years ago, when I caught sight of Loren Alfred on AGT, I was absolutely captivated and couldn't wait for my fix of her videos. And then, lo and behold, I stumbled upon a vid Loren was performing with Pia Toscano on David Foster show singing "Tell Him" and "I am Telling You, I am not going" – boy, was I itching to uncover more Pia treasures after that! I mean, Pia's vocal prowess is off the charts, I simply crave more of her pipes, and she should unquestionably rule the divas world!

The combination of Pias incredible voice and the epic performance of the back ground singers makes this a legendary performance.

Then Pia listens to them, changes her winning formula, adds dancing moving around the stage, sings a pounding Tina Turner song, then loses. Biggest mistake in American idol that year, maybe ever. Only Tyler didn’t suggest that she change. He was right.

I one hundred percent blame the judges for her getting eliminated a week later. They needed to be more forthcoming and explain to her that she was endangering herself by doing the same song week after week. They needed to tell her that she couldn’t win doing the same thing. Then a week later even though she did an uptempo the damage had been done

Looking back at this and I think she has a couple of things going against her. First of all she is very beautiful and considering the majority of the people voting are women they don't vote for her. The second thing she has going against her is that she is too good to win a show like this. these type of shows work as a no one becoming a someone.
