Never seizes to amaze me how much stock people put into preseason lol. Lions went 4-0 one year in preseason and proceeded to finish the year 0-16.

Not just this game, but an overarching insight in our organization the last few years I strongly believe we are not one of the lower level teams hiding behind the shadows of the typical (big dog) high market teams. In my mind our whole stigma was being the small market power house. Yet it seems our staff has become so complacent and has lost that winning drive. We don't push for free agents who have already seen NFL minutes, we rely on the draft, and we keep players on our salary cap who yes, may deserve a second chance, but we aren't a JUCO program. All this, while still having plenty of cap space to sit on. We're an NFL team with an expectation of greatness and should act like it. This is directed towards coaches and staff.

Bad game overall. Yeah its preseason, but we had no sacks, no real explosive plays on offense. Run D depth is bad. Secondary, particularly flowers were dredful at times. Matt Gay looks mid, yet he's the top 3 paid kicker.

This didnt tell me anything new. Looks like the same old team and we shouldnt be shocked, it is from players to coaches. Dont expect more than 8 or so wins.

Richy is a rookie and he needs to be thought of as such, he was definitely nervous and it showed. Richer needs to play more it's that simple, God willing he stays healthy. IF Rich gets hurt Sam Football needs to be out there, not Flack.
