On the heels of what appears to be a second attempt to assassinate him in a few months, former President Donald Trump is forging ahead with his campaign schedule this week as the Nov. 5 election nears.

The Trump campaign said in a news release on Thursday that Trump would hold a town hall and "meet with Michiganders to listen to their concerns and share his vision to make America affordable again" at Dort Financial Center on Lapeer Road in Flint beginning at 7 p.m.

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who served as White House press secretary for Trump when he was president, will serve as the moderator at the town hall meeting.

After the previous attempt on Trump’s life during a July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, his campaign briefly paused outdoor rallies, but went ahead with scheduled appearances at the Republican National Convention in the days afterward. There was no indication the latest apparent attempt on Trump’s life would dramatically alter his campaign schedule this time, either.

Trump & Sarah were able to fool me all these years, not anymore! I used to respect this woman, but not anymore. Due to her poor choice & her morals have gone down the drain! As a 30 yr vet & a GOP for 5 decades, I WILL VOTE as a democrat for the 1st time & until all of trump’s cultists are gone! Bye Sarah!
