Mixed Media Tags and Notebook

Welcome back to my channel.
It is so nice to be doing some mixed media and getting messy! I am making a large mixed media background on mixed media paper which is 300 gsm. It is nice to do it on one big piece of paper and cut it up, then each piece is
different. I have made tags and a journal/notebook cover.

Hi Gi, that is beautiful. I love your collage. I didn't think it looked Christmasy to start with, but when you added the stag and Father Christmas, it transformed it - plus the gold too. I buy table runners from TEMU that come in gorgeous foil, and cut that up to add to journals, art and tags. Your fibre roll reminds me of the table runners. The blend of colors is perfect, a nice balance of colors and shapes. Oh my goodness, day has dawned--I've been trying to use the cut off piece as a guide--seemed so straightforward, but my corners are always wonky. Cutting off one corner of a stiff card is brilliant--and I'm embarrassed that I didn't think of it myself. Thank you--I always learn something new from you.

Hello Gi! Happy December! I started watching this earlier today, and enjoyed your creative play with Gesso, and inks, but then had to go out. I have just finished watching, and loved the little notebook cover that you made, and the seam binding used to tie in the pages is gorgeous! I haven't any embossing plates but I think stamping and inking the paper can be done. I like your ideas for making mixed media paper, then making tags from it, and keeping the rest of the paper aside for later projects. Very good ideas, Gi! Thanks for sharing your creative ideas!

Hi, Gi, aren’t those handles with the Velcro great so you can change out the pads, I have a pad for each color I use & change them out as I need to. Love your background colors & how you did the design & your fussy cuts are adorable! That gold fiber paper is beautiful. Your tags turned out beautifully & I would save them for ornaments for the next year. By the way the cake you made was fabulous & I loved it! You really make everything look beautiful! Stay safe! What paper are you using? Water color paper? Before the water what did you put on ..couldn't hear?❤

The tags are beautiful and so is the notebook. I am purchasing the fussy cuts you used but I could not find the words. Are they in one of your digitals?
