CDC Sedge

A great river sedge pattern for those stubborn fish and also for general Sedge fishing,

Hook: - Definite Advantage Barbless Dry Fly Hook Sizes 10-16
Thread: - Danville's Fl.Pink FlyMaster 6/0
Tail: - Fl.Yellow Twinkle or Anglehair
Body: - Natural Fox Squirrel
Wing: - Web Wing Brown cut to shape and folded
Hackle: - 3 or 4 Natural CDC feather spun in a dubbing loop

Looks like great winging material. I use Marc Petitjean super select CDC. I have yet to have a pack with more than one or two unusable feathers, and I add them to the dubbing. They are all long enough for the magic tool. If you can get them online you might get them at 10.00 USD a bag. Worth it because even the died ones are not too brittle to do whatever you want with them. All the best, thanks for sharing.
