It's so amazing not only observing how each artist saw the picture, but the differences in how they illustrated it as well. They're all using a digital media, but each of them treated it like the medium they're most familiar with. You can see it mostly with how Jonathan treated the image like a single canvas where he built value like he would with paint and how Stephen treated his image like a marker/technical pen. Or even how Thomas was blazing through hotkeys and shortcuts. There are so many nuances in the image, so many more with how the images are translated. So many reasons to keep the video on repeat!

Oh my god 😱😱 I'm only in the beginning of the video but I'm already thankful. The fact that we get to hear how each person tackles the reference and how the 4 artists are specialised in different fields are educational. Love the video idea!

Really dig how this is all about the approach, and that is really the difference between us artists. Most of us work with the same subject matter, but when we look at those same things, certain things, a detail, light, expression, mood.. becomes most important, the goal we're trying to reach. To allow others to see what is important to us, regardless of subject. Thanks for sharing, I hadn't really thought of it that way before. This will certainly make myself more aware of how I approach things.

Great to see this. Beginners tend to look for "how to draw" videos and they forget that there is no rules and limitations. We are not a bunch of andrew loomises. Great video!

This was a great idea for a video. It's awesome to see how differently artists see and handle the same subject, but I loved even more that they went in on their process. Just the thing needed to start a morning drawing! Helpful as always.
Also I signed up for one of your panels at CTN this weekend. I can't wait!
