I composed a song based on events from Mistborn: Secret History. Contains spoilers!

I wanted to sing this but all the lyrics weren't in one place, and no other commenter had done it yet, so you know what, storm anxiety, I'm gonna post my first ever YouTube comment lol. Thank you so much for this song (and Bondsmith as well), they really touch my heart and I've been listening almost nonstop since I found them a week or so ago; you're very talented, and I look forward to hearing any other cosmere songs you might write.

For some reason I’ve been recommended a lot of Cosmere content with relatively low views, often from years ago. Not that I’m complaining. It’s great.

I think Preservation is the Shard that I respect the most. He genuinely cared about the people of Scadrial and saw it as his personal duty to accompany every one them in the Cognitive Realm as they passed into the Beyond. Even though he wasn't able to do more, he did everything that he could for Scadrial. And his words to Kelsier about playing with the hearts of men shows that he respected the people that he watched over.

I know that Harmony does, too, but comparing the amount of time that Leras had the power of a Shard to Sazed, it's impressive that after thousands of years, Leras remained such a caring person.

Listened to this song for the first time before reading Secret History. Didn't pay much attention, thought the song was about Vin seeing Kelsier's death.
Now that I read Secret History, this song hits much stronger than before. Love it.

I thought this was too mellow and soft when it feels like it should be more angry and determined and yet I've listened to this like twelve times in two or three days, often on repeat.
Just finished Secret History again and had to listen to this again.
I love that you pronounce Kelsier more French, too.

I don't read the book but my friend does and I found the song through her. I don't regret it! It's truly lovely and has a serene yet adventurous vibe! Like a village folk song!
