Not only was Scar willing to kill his brother and nephew to get the throne, but as soon as the consequences of his actions came back to bite him, he blamed everything on his loyal hyenas l, which is ultimately what caused his early demise. Gilderoy Lockhart’s stories aren’t “made up”. He stole credit for what other wizards and witches accomplished. He would ask them how they they did these feats and write about them as if he had done them. He also used a memory erasing charm on the witch or wizard.
