We went to Nicte-Ha yesterday and FYI, they do mandate life jackets now because someone got hurt. Also, the online info says it would be about $100 pesos per person, but to get in it was $300 pesos per person - They must have changed a lot since this vid was posted. Also, I am a certified scuba diver and when I showed my certification they said it didn't matter and I would still have to wear a life jacket. The woman at the ticket counter said that you can only not wear a life jacket if you come with a scuba school from Tulum.

After weeks of research, THIS was the singular most helpful piece of content about cenotes. Loved your criteria--we aren't divers so some of these cenotes didn't factor in for us, but really appreciated the tourism level, water clarity, distance, and lifejacket analysis. Thank you!

This is a fantastic list. I love how detailed you are on each one. We are meandering down through Yucatan in March and will definitely be hitting many, if not all, of these. I added several to my list of things to do but I'm saving this video to watch again when we are there because it's so good. Thank you for posting. I will give you a shoutout when our cenote video comes out.

Did Casa cenote after watching these videos. We paid for the guided tour and kinda glad we did. The young guy, Freddy, helped tour us and he showed us where we could dive through. I am a relatively amateur snorkeler and enjoyed it so much. It's a great place to train for scuba clearly but you do not need scuba to see and do all the fun stuff here. I loved the challenge and the longer we were there the more confident I became. We did a few dives through caverns and I felt a real sense of accomplishment each time I made it through safely. The fish and the wildlife were fun to see. We didn't get to see the crocodile but the people before us said they did. Thanks for your video. I'm so glad we went to Casa and not Dos Ojos. We did Corazon Paraiso also buy didn't really love the aggressive fish biting us. We saw a small croc there.
