ok hear me out if it was a movie it would go like:
2 twins move into a new orphanage and nobody knows how they got there, they just showed up one day. Judis is a 11 year old girl at the orphanage who hears the 2 twin girls singing "you belong with me" in the garden, she goes to investegate. She watches them sing for a couple seconds then they walk and fade away into the darkness. Judis is invested, so she asks a girl who used to go to the orphanage that the twin girls used to be at. Grace (the girl who used to go to the old orphange with the twins) tells her something she cant tell anyone else or else Grace will die. Grace tells Judis that the twin girls died (they both hung themselves in the same rope, holding hands) and that they were spirits who haunt the unworthy. Judis is in disbelief and tells one of her friends about it then the next day grace goes missing and is found at the bottom of a lake. Who will solve the mystery?...

So many amazing, classic songs like this are lost in history. It only does this song have a great melody, it has a great history all its own as well. Even Nancy Sinatra recorded it once. I first heard it on the first season, first episodes of American Horror Story! Thanks for keeping musical history alive. And I love your take on it!
