I also have a few questions about running the axe fx like this if you have a moment.
Could you tell me what settings you use under the audio tab in the I/O menu? Also should I be running mono or stereo cabs in my patches when using this type of set up?

What about programming both guitars via midi control in a DAW? Or is it still just one guitar can get controlled?

Are there any disadvantages when using two guitars into one axe fx while you're performing live? Or is there reduction in the sound quality?

Great tutorial, however, you do not need to pan them, seeing as each signal will be assigned its on channel on the mixer - which in turn can, and will, be panned left and right. :)

When I saw the video, I was wondering if it is possible to do the same with both rows in stereo by doing that:

row 1: straight line, nothing extraordinary for first guitar
row 2: start with an empty block (no connection to input), then add a [RTN], followed by [FXL], then put your effects and close the row with a [SND] without connecting to the output.



that way you would have a totally seperate second line using the Input 2 and Output 2 jacks, or am I wrong?

Ive watched every video available to learn how to do this and its still not happening. My bands patch utilizes 2 noise gates and a tone match block. My understanding so far is that this would be impossible to do one the same patch... so i tried just making a new simpler patch and one guitar sounds all muffled and shitty, i have no clue whats going on because i cant see the cords and imputs the instructions are talking about. Im going fucking crazy with frustration, i would be playing gigs if not for this issue
