Where do I begin?! I think it goes without saying that the Texas Winter Storm of 2021 was one for the books! I cannot believe we received so much snow! The power outages were outrageous and scary! My husband and I consider ourselves to be very blessed. Compared to the majority of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and the entire state of Texas, we experienced manageable power outages. This video gives you a glimpse into what it was like to drive, shop, cook, keep warm, stay sane, and maintain our happiness during such a scary storm.

My name is Marnae. I am a third generation Chicago native. I currently reside in Arlington, Texas with my husband (Scott), step-son (Jayden) and 2 German Shepard mix rescues (Maxwell & Creed). I’m a Flight Attendant, former Dental Assistant, Gardner, entrepreneur, avid DIY’er, serial cleaner, and an all around jack of all trades.

I began my aviation career in 2007 during a cold wintery January in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since then I have never looked back. I've flourished at 2 regional airlines and now I am at the majors. My career took off like a rocket and continues to thrive, even today. Within the airline I have fulfilled roles as a Flight Attendant, Union Steward, Reports Analyst, Program Interface Specialists, and Instructor.
