When I translate a question from Spanish, my native language, into English in Google Translate, always, the app leaves a space between the end of the sentence and the question mark. The same is true for sentences that end with an exclamation mark.
It occurred to me so many times that I started to assume that this is the rule, but it happened that I recently started reading a book in English and... surprise, surprise, there is no space in front of the punctuation marks at the end of the sentences.
Who is right in this matter? Is it a new norm? That "ghost" space does not appear in the examples in this video either.
I'm confused! 🤷🏾‍♂

Hi Jennifer,
I have seen your whole playlist of Transcriptiontion related videos and English Grammar. I have also completed an online course on Skillshare by Amanda Fichter- Hands-on Transcription and I am still unable to crack Scribie Transcription Test. I have seen your previous video on Scribie.

Can you please make another video on Scribie explaining the style guide and terms like sentence run-on, fillers, wrong start, mid-sentence pauses, and starting a sentence with 'And' . I have tried many times on this website, but due to the poor audio quality of test files and my lack of understanding of their style guide, i keep getting rejected.

Do you have any suggestions other than Scribie?

Please help.
