I am Niti saxena, today i will tell you about... Diabetes insulin plant
it is a medicinal and ornamental plant
botanical name- Costus igneus
commonly known as insulin plant in India, belongs to the family Costaceae.
some call it spiral flag.
it is Hardy and medicinal plant
The plant is characterized by fleshy looking leaves which are dark green in color. The leaves are large and are arranged spirally on a strong brown color stem. The plant looks attractive with its long fleshy and sturdy leaves forming spiral shape.

The leaves of insulin plant contain mostly of Corosolic Acid which is found to be beneficial in controlling diabetes. 
insulin leaves reduces the spiked sugar levels in the blood.

Protein,Terpenoids,Flavonoids,Antioxidants,Ascorbic Acid,Iron,B Carotene
INSULIN is a vital hormone in the human body. It is an integral hormone that regulates and stores glucose.The cells of the body depend on insulin for the transportation of glucose in the body for the production of energy.
it maintaining the Blood sugar level and cholesterol.
daily use of this plant can stop the origin of Cancer cells, leaves can be used in fever, asthma, bronchitis
it keeps our pancreas, liver, digestion fit
location
for growing the plant should have a balance of sunlight and shade.
soil
50% garden soil 50% compost any
soil should be well drained.
water
water it daily when you feel the upper layer of soil dry ,soil should not be soggy.
Fertilize the plant monthly in the summers
it bears beautiful flowers too.
The plant is prone to mites, caterpillars, etc. and therefore insecticidal soap/neem oil should be applied.
It is suggested to take the leave twice a day. The leave can also be consumed in dried powdered form. Also, it is recommended to consult the doctor if you feel any uneasiness or dizziness. 
Insulin plant can be propagated both by root and stem cuttings.
It is helpful to treat Type-2 diabetes.
Dosage:
Chew 1 twice a day, empty stomach, after that don't drink water for 1 hr
Or
Make powder of dried leaves,
1 tablespoon in the morning empty stomach
