Tesla stock will 10x (oversimplified break down)

Tesla stock I believe will 10x in my opinion (not financial advice). I presented an oversimplified break down to some of my friends why I bought Tesla stock before and that was still too complicated. So today... I present my SIMPLIFIED OVERSIMPLIFIED version of why I buy Tesla stock.

About me:

The first time I bought Tesla stock was in the beginning of 2019 (adjusted for the current stock split of 2022 August - under $20 dollars per share). I purchased it because at that time for the first time it was absolutely clear to me that Tesla will be profitable and bankruptcy is no longer a concern. My personal belief is that even though the stock went up a lot, I still personally believe it is strongly underpriced, but only if you are a long term investor.

Also consider the stock buybacks that can be expected and drive the stock price up. Less shares outstanding, so higher earnings per share, hence higher stock price with the same PE ratio.

Is the robo-taxi market really such a big deal? "The global taxi market was valued at $69.18 billion in 2019, and is projected to reach $120.89 billion by 2027".

While a a big drop seems unlikely, keeping sales numbers rising over the next years will be challenging part for Tesla between chinese manufacturers and the existing automotive industry. From a european view most of their products have a 10 year old "known" design and miss newer key technologies like adaptive front lights, head up displays, localized traffic sign recognition and even their "autonomous" driving technology has lost its edge over the competition. Now that they're opening their charging network to all evs yesteryears main advantage will fade away. A cybertruck or a roadster will not do the trick for the european market. The most important market here are "cheap" mid sized sub 40k € SUVs and small city cars. Both of which Tesla will not provide with next years cuts to governments funding towards ev sales. Chinese/asian market predictions for 2025 do not favor Tesla either.
It will be interesting to see how the whole EV market evolves once supply finally outpaces demand. All manufacturers seem to be heavily invested right now.
