Love the video as always, but I've gotta say in the most positively constructive way possible, the additional Mario voice from Slick Frame really detracts from it for me. That's nothing against him, he does a great Mario, but part of the charm of your animations for me have always been the non-verbal communication Mario would get across from facial expressions, to looking at the camera, to movement options. Slick does a great Mario and I appreciate it, it just takes away from the animation imo, or rather it's just used too much.

I haven't had the chance to watch these in a while so it was a major surprise when Mario had more than one line in this one. I like how he's developing over this series.

Now *_that's_* an idea I like. In previous videos featuring the BOOM block, it never occurred to me that it functioned differently from the POW block. I just thought it was a cosmetic change. But rather than a shockwave-producing object, it appears to be a detonator that functionally affects anything powered by, destroyed by, or otherwise related directly to explosions.
-Destroying bricks in a given radius
-Igniting the powder in a cannon
-Igniting the fuse in a Bob-Omb
-Damaging cracked tile blocks

You've even established rules for larger, more powerful variants. On top of having a wider "trigger frequency" radius, they have the capacity for volatile materials within, and as such can also have their own explosive force when activated. They also cannot be affected by a single BOOM block unless its trigger signal encompasses the larger block's entire size. As such, the bigger block has to be worn down by multiple BOOM block projectile attacks, or activated properly by a single direct bump, while that same bigger block has the reach to successfully detonate the giant one, which has a nuclear-tier explosive output.

I really adore how the _Boom Blocks_ can take out more than just enemies & bricks, like a normal _Pow Block_ can. (It’s a potential idea that Nintendo has *YET* to make happen!)
