Inktense 100 Set Review Temporary Pause

First of all I just would like to say, I know I am under no pressure from you guys or anyone else to get reviews done, this is something I love doing and you guys have provided me with a platform and audience to purse what I love doing. That being said, given the wonderful support I receive from you all, I feel it is only good manners to provide an explanation as to what is going on, especially considering the teasers I have added to the various social media platforms The Art Gear Guide is on.

When I received the 100 set of Derwent Inktense to review, I was over the moon, not just because I was going to have the opportunity to use them but also because I had received a lot of requests to review the set. I decided to do something that ordinarily I always forget to do or just don't bother and that is providing teasers on social media. Everything was going amazing, I had the artwork all drawn out ready to start and then I got a call from both my Mother and Sister. The video explains everything but I want you to know, that whilst I absolutely am putting my family first and spending as much time with my Father as I possible can, I still fully intend to upload a comprehensive review of this simply wonderful product from Derwent.

For me living in a different country to my Father, spending time with him isn't always possible due to cost and logistics of travel, but I can't sit about just waiting and wallowing in self pity and so I feel I must keep working to take my mind off the obvious. I know we all have our time and none of us can stay forever, but I had a bumpy relationship with my Dad as a teenager and only when I turned into a man, got married and had our children, did my relationship with my Father become the strong relationship it is today and for that I am so grateful. My Dad knows how much I love him and he knows just how much I love him.

i lost my mum 3 months ago, after a a diagnosis of terminal cancer 10 weeks prior, i am in Australia ans whilst mum wasnt far 2-3hrs away by car, but suddenly i had to do lots of travelling back and forths, plus manage my own family, but suddenly mum needed home help, dad needed help with his arthritis anyway - i totally get what you were talking about, sending positive vibes xx

Hi Harry, I'm praying for your Dad, your Mum, for you and all your family. I know it's difficult, I lost my Mum a few months ago which devastates me. I was lucky enough to live around the corner from her but my 2 siblings lived far away and told me how hard it is to take time out of their lives from work and home. I really couldn't care less about the review (not that I don't like your reviews, I do). Try to spend as much quality time as you can with your parents. You never know how long you got and it's made me re-evaluate my life too. I also lost my stepfather a month later. It's been an awful year and my heart goes out to you and your family. I live across the pond in Pennsylvania but come from a long line of Irish folks ...and my Grandmother on my Dad's side was born in Cork....I've been to the UK and Ireland many times but it has been too long since my last trip there!
