it has a similar vibe to when we got Cliff Avril.. a solid consistent and versatile veteran presence who can be plugged inside or outside when the scenario calls for it.. I think we have been making some really great moves all with minimal risks and considering how poorly our defense has been, these moves should all have positive impacts allowing us glyo return to a multi faceted multi dimensional system

We are lucky 🍀 as hell to get a 29yr old. 6’3” 280lbs. former 2nd rd pick(35)out of Florida State! He played for SIX different teams! Raiders, Giants, Saints,
Bears, Jaguars and Titans! First team ALL-ACC(2014) Third team ALL-ACC(2013) and BCS National Champion (2024)! Father played for the Cowboys as a CB. He was a 5 star recruit! #1 DT prospect in his class from Mississippi! To get this this type of athlete on a 1yr prove it deal, the Seahawks struck gold! Edwards stats have not dipped. We can at that he had his best year in 2022. His best years are still in front of him! At age 29 Mario Edwards still has a lot left in the tank! No major injuries! Pete Carol is a master at getting the best out of players. I’m positive that he will have his best years as a Seahawk!

I loved the Walker pick last year when others didn't after Penny's season prior. I didn't see a need to take Chardonnay, we could have got a great RB jn round 4 or 5. Carson was an absolute beast, probably our 3rd best back in History behind Beastmode and Alexander. Carson was a Sav until the neck injury.

Everybody's been fixating on DT hysteria, despite the fact we went into the draft without a 3/4 DE on the roster. Now we have 2 but still need a back -up.
