He's never puffed from being scared, but will do it to exercise his muscles. In 5 years I've seen it about 3-4 times.

Hank is an all star in the puffer category. Looks like you take great care of him as well, this puffer looks extremely healthy and robust. keep up the good work.

So cool! And it's rly so sweet of him to not eat those tiny fishes despite puffers being so aggresive :) thumbs up👍

You should do a throw back Thursday and repost some of these old videos. When there is nothing new on my feed I like scrolling back to the old videos I missed before I subscribed. Thanks for your time and effort on these videos.

Have you ever seen him puff? My Mbu is 10" and hasn't ever looked like doing it. Obviously I haven't tried to make him do it, but he's been spooked by the siphon and had nets in the tank for other fish. He's just too chilled

Do you think it would be possible to keep a MBU with 3 stingrays? I have the opportunity to order WC MBU that is about 8 inches from my LFS now and my stingrays is about 15-17". The stingrays dont care at all about other fish since they are well fed. I read that MBU was one ot the more friendly puffers and thought it might work out. There is a video on YT with a monstertank with MBU and stingrays together

What puffer would be right for me. I have a 75 galling fish tank with nothing in it. I am wondering which freshwater puffer the right one that will be big enough to be the only fish in its tank.
