FX 606 Core Knife Fox Knives VOX BECUT Steel

Fox Knives, VOX CORE knife, the FX 606 made with German produced (BESTAR) BECUT Niobium enhanced steel. This is a 0.7% high carbon steel with 0.8% Niobium. Niobium carbides promote fine grain structure leading to excellent edge retention.
BECUT also features 1.9% Mo for great corrosion resistance.

BECUT has been around since 1992 in the food industry, where it is used in industrial cutting blades. Here we see it now utilized for outdoor knives. What to say? I found under real field conditions (away from industry) BECUT really holds an edge like the manufacturer says. No clean woods cut, no resharpening, no wiping the blade over 2 weeks (yuck!), plunging tip and twisting into dirty tree roots! No chipping!

The simple, yet comfortable synthetic grip (with palm swell) provides a no nonsense working field knife, with little maintenance required.

I'm very interested in this knife, very good steel at a budget price, from an Italian maker that normally is not cheap at all. But I think I will go for the saber flat grind, I feel it more useful for an all round knife.

Always a treat to check up on your work :)! Ive been eyeballing it for Danish-forest use, since it came out.. Little pronunciation thingy(just for fun) If you Say: Yesper.. Like Yes-per. It's sounds more Danish. The J is more flat, More fluid... Jes and Yes are similar :) Maybe it makes sense :)

Funny enough, the first video I ever saw of you last year was a Fox as well. Takes me back to when I still had room in my knife cabinet and bought what you showcased.^^ Do they offer micarta handles as well?
