Solar power is playing a huge part in the decarbonization of economies around the world. But we need to move faster. 5B will be participating in the #COP27 climate summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt to reinforce the need to deploy solar on a huge scale at breathtaking pace to limit global warming to 1.5°C and avoid the impacts of catastrophic climate change.

Luckily, speed is our specialty at 5B. Dr Nicole Kuepper-Russell shares how 5B is working out how we decarbonise the world as rapidly as possible.

Our 5B Maverick can be deployed much faster than conventional solar arrays - it's prefabricated in a factory, shipped to site, and soon will be deployed semi-autonomously. This makes it safer and faster, with less people required on site, with minimal waste. It’s a paradigm shift in solar projects.
