Ecclesiastical 3:1-8 said that there is a time and season for all things and if one is in a war and the enemy wanted something that one may know that could hurt the nation, I believe I would consider 1king 22:19-23 so that way my nation would be preserve. Now, of course, I would not lie to the righteous. Like Mark 2:27 said that the sabbath was made for man and not man for the sabbath. It is interesting to note that in

Genesis 20:1–16 narrates the story of Abraham emigrating to the southern region of Gerar, whose king is named Abimelech. Abraham states that Sarah, his wife, is really his sister, leading Abimelech to try to take Sarah as a wife; however, God intervened before Abimelech touched Sarah.

Here Abraham, after receiving the covenant with the Most High, had to lie to protect himself from a unrighteous king . Even in the book of 1 kings 22:21-25, there was lying spirit sent forth to punish a evil king. Hence, base on these scriptures, sometimes, if evil things comes ones way, one can lie to protect their nation or themselves from evil. However, I digress.
