This is the most 1990’s style review of a 2025 car that I’ve ever seen 😂

I really like the warning sticker on the dash! I'll bet those things really save a lot of lives.

I had to laugh when the video announces this McLaren "JUST" starts at $278K. 🤣 That is so cheap I'll take three of them please.

There was a time Motorweek was more like Consumer Reports. Now they're more like a commercial.
Sure they have to talk up cars to get them loaned for the show. How about featuring more bread and butter cars that most people can afford-which is a shrinking segment anyway..no frills or gadget baskets but pure transportation. And report on reliability issues, some motors are so bad apparently that dealerships have replacement motors in backrooms rather than repairing them to replace.
That's the kind of information I want, how bout that?

All that money, and all you get is a twin turbo v6, and 11 miles of driving range. What is really the point of a hybrid system here? It seems the only reason its in this car is to needlessly complicate it. And because McLaren didnt learn from the failure that was the modern Acura NSX, they decided to put the hybrid system into the transmission, futher complicating it and leaving a super high chance for failure. Not to mention, digital dash screen, and super cheap looking plastic throughout the car. It looks like a modern chevy interior. Gross. Not worth it, as there are far superior cars out there below this price point. But as they say, a fool and his money are soon departed.

McLaren sent me a test drive invite. I’m gonna try to take him up on it. But that’s not as quick as my Corvette C8 to 60. Might be hard to make me spend twice the amount of money. I was able to tour the McLaren technical center; and the F1 drivers Lando&Oscar walked by me.

Drove it and my tuned 2019 NSX beats it in all categories hands down for half the price...Nice try McLaren, but better luck next time!
