Bollywood consistently dropped good movies back to back this month. Chhava, Crazxy, Superboys of Malegaon, Mrs and now Diplomat, but they collectively garnered less attention than the abomination Naadaniyan and 'Uyi Amma'. Industry ne apne taraf see to efforts daal diye movies bana ke, but now, when it's the audience turn, they don't respond in the same way and then term Bollywood as dying. The paradox.

Atleast John Abraham is choosing good scripts and doing roles suiting his age, not like Avatar no.1 !

Personally I think you should NOT address Mukesh Ego Khanna ji. Just ignore him. That old man has lost his senses. Doing the whole court case could be lot taxing for you, eventhough you are in the right. If people like these get ignored for thier stupid stunts then only will they come in line. That is my personal opinion.

Bro actually John in this type of movie is a good combo just like we have seen in Parmanu movie.
Every producer casts John in action movies but he suits well in serious and iq investing movies.😊

Shan you yourself hate slowburn movies, but India needs slowburn movies to cure the brainrot of the masala movies. India does not have a Burning like South Korea, or Cure like Japan. We need a slow, contemplative thrillers. I believe Diplomat could have become a bit like Argo, but it also strays from maintaining the tension for long.

Shan bhai this movie was way good..and one of the best work of john..but i am sad logo ko iske baare m pata he nahi chala..no promotion no hype nothing..islye theatre khali se the...i think this movie of his should get appreciation from audience side so that bollywood can learn and improve its methods of movie making and you know that. Sir Satyajit Ray was absolutely right about Indian audience.."Indian Audience is the most immatured bunch to be found in the entire world"..Creatively tasteless, and too much of paise khau paisa hagu and paisa chatu wala mentality people growing in India from the last two decades..sad but it's true..

Why John Abraham didn't became a superstar

Problem is john said once, he can't go on spending money for promotion. He needs money to produce films and to reach the theatrres. You can see writing and quality of his production films

Actually John is promoting the movie by doing interviews with Republic TV and he also met the MEA recently, but its still very less as compared to some other movies recently.

What struck me was how power quietly manipulates in this film—no loud drama, just razor-sharp tension. It’s not about war or peace, it’s about the grey in between. Made me question if diplomacy is just a prettier word for control.

Bhai i really like your analysis on movies and I am happy we have criticis like you who don't praise bad films that are not only damaging to our society but also set a low precedent for upcoming films ( even if they do good on box office for some reason, like Pushpa) and the way you openly call out nepotism culture in our Indian film industries, keep going brother, you are doing a good job educating people to make the right choice about the content they consume.

John Abraham has a good filmography, but failed due to bad marketing and bollywood gang. Note, I'm not a John fan.

I liked the movie. Watched it during Holi morning and only a quarter of the theatre was full. Hope the box office collections picks up over the weekend
