This Build Can AFK Farm P8! Dragon Auradin + FoH | Patch 2.6 Season 3 Diablo 2 Resurrected D2R

Supposedly, Dragon Auradin is only a meme that can stomp P1 cows and that's it. We put that to the test and came up with something really unique. Dispelling some of the myths of the strengths and weaknesses of Dragondin, while figuring out what the sweet spot for player diffiiculty is to farm at.

One build which never gets used and completely busted is dual dream lightning zeal sorceress. Masteries (fire and lightning) affect ALL skills which deal the same damage type even if they are from another class. Double dream gives you about 60k damage on a melee hit which zeal deals 5 of (I forgo the runeword which gives access to zeal), a stupidly large holy shock radius and turns the game into a walking simulator with the occasional one shot of an act boss or diablo clone. You must give it a shot

I reached this video because I thought "Hey, this zeal shit is annoying, I want to AOE everything... what if I'd combine FOH with my fire aura paladin, would I have enough points for it?". And I jumped to the skill calculator and did the math and everything on paper seemed awesome. I looked for gear afterwards and I got more and more excited that I'd finally thought of a new build.
Then I thought... wait a second, somebody had to have figured this out before, I'd better google it first.
And of course someone has thought if it already...

Great showcase and build Mac. Unless next week comes with a ton of balance changes I'm probably rolling a Pally for S3. Given the state of the economy at the end of S2 it really feels like Density clearing is the only way to maintain value generation throughout the season as so many players are going to roll Bilz and saturate the market with <TC84 gear.
At the cost of 3 Sur, 2 Lo, Cham its not a cheap build but being able to work up to it while still maintaining a full FOH build opens up a pretty solid progression focusing Chaos and decent TZs. The dual Dream, though it has Teleport, still ends up costing 3Jah Ber which early on is way out of reach for most players. Definitely worth considering for a Pally Season start.

I dont really understand all the players 8 hype. I never play offline anyway and noone I play with ever does :\ it sounds nice but I really cannot use it at all

For a faster kill speed without the convenience of the prayer/concentration merc, you can change the merc to act 3 lightning with this gear:

Griffons
35 fcr spirit sword
35 fcr spirit monarch
eth chains of honor

This gives him +7 skills for a level 28 static field which has a 21 yard radius, and hits the 86 FCR breakpoint so he spams spells. The goal is not his damage, but spamming static field which gets enemies lower faster for your holy fire aura / FoH / Zeal to finish them.

Interesting build, gonna spend a token on that one! Thanks for sharing and pointing out that p8 farming doesnt only refer to hellcows and cs aka the areas in the game with very high hp minions. Stony Tomb is such a great place to farm for density and also fairly well accessible for early ladder chars without enigma.

I came up with this exact same idea during season 2 ladder (early November iirc), just without having a lot of MF. This build is a lot of fun. I went with Flickering flame, Lava Goult for iAS and Enchant, Natalya's boots for res and walk speed and a Frenz Barb mercenary equipped with VG Umed, Guardian Angel Umed, Bloodmoon Shaeled and Plague off-hand.

currently run a hybrid pala that can switch from any melee based build to a very strong FoHdin and honestly he's amazing, lvl 97 hc

Is the Holy Fire multiplicative, or is it 3 pulses of its level? I ask because I run tesladin with dreams, and have never seen that damage before

I think this is way better than the zeal/sacrifice variant because you can just zeal anyways

Made the switch and so far.ot feels incredible tombs are hilarious. Some monsters need a few more hits than others but I hate zeal because of ice shatter. this is dope as fuck
