It's all well and good, but sometimes it is almost impossible to follow these rules. Like...if someone's ideas are completely illogical, misinformed and ethically questionable why should you be open to them? Or regarding not using absolutes, if a person ALWAYS behaves in a certain way, like always belittling you, it's just right to call them out at a certain point. Being stoic is hard lol!
