As a Lakers fan, I can honestly say that I haven't been this excited for a Lakers season in years, mostly because of the young talent, but also how that young talent fits around LeBron, A D. and some of those other veterans. I'm not concerned about a championship right now, I just want to enjoy the journey and hope this team is the best it can be around playoff time. I'm also excited about our new coach JJ Reddick. I don't know what to expect, but I'm hoping for the best.

I like the idea of a set rotation. Bench players can know their job and their role. Even if that role is just to play only in garbage time, I think that is better psychologically than 15 minutes one night and zero the next. Plus, JJ knows that somebody on this roster is always going to be injured so its really that our 10 top players that can expect a role when healthy and avail. That sounds right. And if you don't like it show out in training camp and pre-season. I know he can shoot, but I doubt Knecht is ready to be in that top 9 UNLESS he can credibly spell Lebron, meaning guard 3's and 4's.
