Reminder, the Celts gave up the heart/soul and depth to get KP and Jrue and won the chip immediately. Lots of Celtic fans were split and pissed about the trades. They gave up Brogdon, Marcus Smart, Grant Williams, and Robert Williams 3. This Knick trade is no different. Both scenarios involved risky moves trading away popular fan favorites and depth to bring in the more talented player that fit into the roster skill-wise.

Leon is playing chess. Knicks have improved on D by adding Bridges and Kats length. The offense will be more dynamic with these additions also. The bench will be just fine with the addition of Koleck. He makes his teammates better, while being able to create shots. Simms should benefit and we need him to shine.
I see alot of fast break points and high percentage shots this season.

Taking the personal out of it I got love for Donte I had love for Obi, RJ, IQ, Quentin, & Julius but championship decisions are difficult decisions to make it's not personal but we all know what we want....don't be surprised if Katt is in the MVP talks Knicks have their big man now

Kat is an awesome person, and I think he will give a defensive-minded Knicks team a much-needed scorer. He makes goofy mistakes and gets into foul trouble, but the Knicks fans will be able to accept his faults because of his positives.

Why are Knicks fans crying about the trade its a business and smart move, randle contract was gonna be up and Knicks wasn't going to resign, donte didn't want to go back to bench I understand that but it was for team but he wanted to start so I'm taking bridges over donte, and now towns he isn't soft a 4x all-star, can shoot and size and can move, on court he has prove it being 4x all-star, off the court he went through hell to lose most of family from covid and still have desire to play.

If we re keeping Mitch then it’s a deal that gives us a tremendous amount of versatility to play a big team or a really big team that can just shut the paint down or that five out offense with two great defensive wings and five shooters on the floor. As usual great move by Leon rose.

Great point by CP concerning the age of the Knicks core, too. This roster could roll together for a while much like the Celtics.
