Inventory system (perpetual and periodic inventory systems )

On this channel im teaching about Accounting and Ethiopia tax system. Today i am going to explain Accounting principle chapter 10, Inventory, Which are quantity on hand and that are purchased for resale or used for raw material in manufacturing company. Any company can use periodic or perpetual inventory system based on types of business they are doing. Hence,an accountant should have to differentiate the method. Perpetual inventory system are types of inventory accounting system which continually update inventory amount while periodic inventory system determine inventory and cost of goods sold at the end of years by performing physical counting .
