Very good. However, that wasn't a full side split, not even a full middle split. That was a triangular straddle pose. Notice your legs make a triangle. They are not 180° inline in ordet to call it full split. But, all in all, a good job, impressive! So nothing to feel any dissappointed. Only a few percentage of the people in the world are physically able to reach the full side split. The precondition is the angle of the femur bone and how it gets attached to the pelvis. This is something, a very few lucky of us, are born with. I've been trying to get the full side split for tens of years, but I'm finally adjusting to the fact that it's not going to happen. It's not me being lacy or lacking the will to do it. It's just that I'm bone stucturally not able to do it.

OUCH you deserve the win on this one, as a male I can say I felt telepathic pain every time he got closer to doing a full split

Congrats on the progress, pretty nice to achieve this in 3 months. 1/4th of a year. Now you are that flexible for the rest of your life as long as you do it every now and then. Maintenance is close to zero effort. Thanks for the inspiration bud.

I saw some videos about this same attempt before, but all of the people seemed to be pretty much flexible even in the beginning of the challenge, so seeing your case gave me hope too because its more close to my case, normal case haha. Keep it up, man!

The one you did is a straddle(Pancake). You are almost there., keep going. I still can't do them. I can only do the front splits.

It’s not actually a middlesplit you just sit in a straddle. Look at the white line for reference. For a proper middlesplit your hip should be alined with your feet

Thanks for the helpful video. Most vidoes ive seen show people who already almost have their middle splits then show themselves getting it quickly. 😅

If you look closely, he never actually achieved the gull middle split. His pelvis doesn't touch the ground

Remember! For each "I learned the splits in X days" video, there are at least 1000 people who tried at least as hard, but couldn't do it.

Hello. I’m practicing to do my middle splits as well. I’ve encountered a problem I’m not sure how to resolve. See, my legs do hurt while doing the split, but it’s not that bad so I can endure the pain. The problem here are my arms, they hurt so bad. I’m trying to continue practicing, but the pressure on my arms is hurting so much so I have to take a lot of pauses to rest my ARMS not even my legs. Do you know of any solution?

It's been 10 months since the video was posted. I hope you have achieved the REAL FULL split by now. What you show in the video is sitting on your butt with legs apart. Still good progress though, but definitely not a full split.

Sorry mate but for me this is not a middle split, you are sat on your butt, you did the pancakes not the middle split, good luck for the next
